 Post subject: cherry bomb

if i buy a cherry bomb exhaust it should fit straight on & be long enough to come out the back ? Yes Or No?

That question is very open!
How long is the cherrybomb?
Where do you plan on cutting your exhuast?
Where do you want it mounted?
Do you mind drilling holes in the floor?

on mine it was cut at the bend after the fuel tank then a small staight bit welded on so it would come staight out the back to the point i wanted witch was to come out as far as the standerd sporting exhuast does. then the cherrybomb was welded on to that little staight bit with 2 holes drilled in the spare wheel with a bar welded across the top of the cherrybomb with 2 rubber hangers bolted to the floor.

I got mine done by mechanic on Bexhill road at the tyre centre, £20 less then a hour and it was done

If i was to do it again i would do it myself and weld it all the way round, how he did it was tack it on then fill it with that white stuff :chase:

thing is i didnt want to cut my old exhaust so solved my problem as im not going to get a cherry bomb just get a sportex maybe! lol

Some times people are selling a full exhuast system

yeah i checked but want something the same price as a cherry bomb but as effective as a sportex
